A hotel dining room given over to birds. Branches carry across corners and around the ceiling cove so the wall reads as one continuous canopy rather than a set of separate paintings, and every bird is painted individually onto the plaster.

A wall drawn rather than painted. Ink botanicals are worked at close to life size in line alone, and a single warm coral is let in for the fronds — so the wall reads as a page from a herbarium rather than as decoration.

A single tree grown up a wall from the skirting, flowering as it climbs and carrying its own birds. Painted directly onto the finished surface, so the wall is the canvas and nothing is hung.

Twelve signs painted as one body of work and hung as a single grid. Spacing, frame colour and mount tone were part of the brief rather than an afterthought — the set was composed for the wall it would occupy before any one sign was finished.
